Assessment

The new National Curriculum was introduced in September 2014. The new assessment system was introduced in Summer 2016.

End of Key Stage One - Teacher Assessment

In reading, writing and maths, teachers will assess children against three standards...

Working towards the exopected standard

Working at the expected standard

Working at greater depth within expected standard

For science, children will be assessed against one standard -  working at the expected standard.

End of Key Stage Two

In reading, writing and maths, children are assessed against on standard -  working at the expected standard.

In writing, teacher assessments are used to judge pupil attainmnents.

The framework contains three standards:

Working towards the expected standard

Working at the expected standard

Working at greater depth within the expected standard
